Locksmith Service Areas in Central Ohio
We are a mobile locksmith, so there is no shop for you to drive to and no counter to wait at. The van is the workshop. Keys are cut and programmed at your vehicle, locks are rekeyed at your door, and hardware is fitted where it is going to live.
We are based around Polaris and work north and south from there, covering Columbus, the northern half of Franklin County and the southern part of Delaware County.
Cities we cover
These are the areas we work in most often. Each one has its own page with a bit more detail on what we tend to get called for there.
Columbus
The whole spread of it, from the older housing stock in Clintonville and the near north side out to the newer builds around Polaris and Easton. Car keys, house lockouts and commercial rekeying, in roughly that order of frequency.
Powell
Mostly newer residential, which means a lot of builder-grade hardware and a lot of rekeying after people move in. Also a steady run of car key work, since it is a two and three car household kind of area.
Westerville
A mix. Older homes near Uptown with hardware to match, newer subdivisions further out, and a stretch of small storefronts and offices that need commercial work.
Worthington
Old Worthington has some of the oldest doors we work on, which means mortise locks and hardware that predates anything you can buy off a shelf. The surrounding streets are more conventional.
Lewis Center
The closest community to where we are based, so usually the quickest to reach. Largely newer residential across Orange Township, with the commercial side concentrated around the Polaris corridor.
Delaware
The northern end of our range, and mostly residential work for us. Older housing around the downtown, newer development spreading out from it, and the usual mix of rekeys after a move, lockouts and car keys. The independent businesses downtown are there too when they need us.
Areas in between
Not every place we work has its own page. We regularly cover Dublin, New Albany, Gahanna, Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Sunbury, Galena and Johnstown, along with the townships between them: Orange, Genoa, Sharon, Blendon and Plain. Neighborhoods including Clintonville, Grandview Heights, Minerva Park and Riverlea are all inside our normal range.
If your town is not on this page, it does not mean we will not come. Call and ask. The worst case is we tell you honestly that someone closer would get there sooner.
What we bring with us
Mobile does not mean limited. The van carries key blanks and fobs for the makes we see most, programming equipment, cylinders and pins for rekeying on the spot, and commercial hardware including storefront and mortise locks.
Most jobs are finished in one visit. When something has to be ordered, we say so up front rather than after taking your door apart.
Common questions
Do you have a shop I can come to?
No. We are mobile only, which is why there is no counter and no opening hours to work around. We come to the vehicle, the house or the building.
I am just outside the areas listed. Will you still come?
Probably. The list covers where we work most, not a hard boundary. Call with your location and we will give you a straight answer.
How quickly can you get here?
It depends where you are and what is already running. Lewis Center and Polaris are usually quickest. Calling gets you a real answer, which no form on a website can.
Do you charge more for areas further out?
Distance is part of any mobile trade. Tell us where you are when you call and you will know what to expect before anyone sets off.
Are you available at night and on weekends?
Yes. We are open 24 hours. Lockouts and lost keys do not keep business hours, and a lot of commercial work is easier done outside them.
